-Inspire me, Thursday-

Woke up after +/- 18hours of sleep. Haven’t done that for a long long time, couldn’t recall if I’ve ever done that before! That’s a record for me. =P

At one stage i was struggling to get up after the alarm clock set off at 6pm last evening, but ended up sleeping on until 4+am. I felt my body was so heavy that i couldn’t lift myself off the bed, my heavy eyelids resisting to stay opened, both eyes so tightly closed…seconds later, i was back in the slumberland….

hours later…the beast is awake…

yes, wide awake now, feeling 100% again after night duties and altered sleep routine. =D

when all was still in bed…i was up. the feeling was strange. i had to be careful to keep noises to the minimal. tiptoeing to the toilet, down the stairs, etc. was thinking, what i could achieve during the early hours of the day…

To spend quiet time with God.

In the stillness, i called upon the Lord. and just be emptied of myself once again before the Lord. starting the day by reading psalms and thinking of His wondrous love.

Come fill me again, Lord.

feeling 100% again, i am grateful =)

guess i really needed those extra hours of sleep.

my mind is at rest, body rejuvenated =P

time is 7:43am…time for next agenda, a walk in the neighbourhood. a beutiful cold winter day…learning to appreciate little things in this blessed life of mine.
