Happy Sunday

Started with the Word of God. Reading Exodus 1-3 ‘God calling Moses’

verse that stood out to me: Chapter 3 verse 7 –

The LORD said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.

Thoughts on Victoria bushfire tragedy came across my mind as i was reading this.

Let’s remember the bushfire victims and firefighters in our prayers.

Pray for God’s mercy, comfort & peace upon the people; people find help and give help during this time in need.

also, found a free Audio Bible downloads online which is easily accessible and useful while checking on my Bible reading plan @ -got lots to catch up on… supposingly to be reading the book of Numbers now…need to discipline!

Glad to be back in my Adelaide church, worshipping  God on this beautiful Sunday morning with fellow brothers and sisters; catching up with friends from church.

Rev. Ling preached on Proverbs 17:22

A cheerful heart is good medicine,
but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Sermon title: Overcoming Stress

Thought of the day: Overcoming stress Vs. escaping from stress

Lunch with bro & friends in Chinatown.

Managed to get more things moved; room getting less messy now; a few boxes of clothings ready for Salvo tomorrow.

Dinner with Janice‘s mum, Janice, Mel & Debra. Janice’s mum cooked chicken rice & delicious dishes; red bean soup for dessert; chit-chatting; watching tv.  Felt really blessed! Glad that Debra came over for dinner 🙂

Counting my blessings
